View Here : Disco Volante Alfa
Stunning coach-built supercar is based on Alfa Romeo 8C and each car is built to order. This is the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante ('Flying Saucer'), built by Milanese coachbuilding firm Touring Superleggera. Based on an Alfa Romeo 8C, it shares the same 437bhp 4.7-litre V8 but the handmade bodywork is all new.
In 1952, Alfa Romeo set the new aesthetical & aerodynamic landmark of the time with a Touring Carrozzeria Superleggera design called Disco Volante (Italian for “flying saucer”); his lines prefiguring the iconic jaguar type E by almost 10 years.
